You are also provided the ability to access, update and request deletion of certain information we have about you however, we have no control over personal information you consented to our sharing with any third party. Please include your name, email address and postal address in your request so that we may respond appropriately and promptly. How We Protect Personal Information

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration and disclosure. All personal information you provide to us are stored on secure servers and protected through SSL encryption firewall. Member IDs are encrypted and stored in offline databank.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Website; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access.

 

Retention of Your Data

It is our legal obligation to retain accurate data and only retain personal data for as long as we need it for our legitimate business record or legal interest when applicable. We segregate our data so that we keep different types of data for different time periods. When applicable we will delete part or all of your personal data from our main Customer Relationship Management System however, we may also archive part or all of your personal data or retain it on our financial systems even if your account is closed. In order to retain your personal data we may have to pseudonymise parts of your data, particularly following a request for deletion or suppression of your data. We create Pseudonymised Data by taking identifying fields within a database and replacing them with artificial identifiers or ‘pseudonyms’.

The criteria we use to determine whether we should retain your personal data for as long as necessary include:

  • The nature of the personal data

  • Legitimate business operations

  • Its perceived accuracy

  • Our legal obligations in cases of request from public authorities
